Avada Car Dealer News

Today, I am declaring that I am running to represent the people of the 31st State House District in Lansing as our new state representative. I’m running to represent the values of my friends, family, and neighbors and give them a voice in our government. I’m a husband, a father of three, and a grandfather of four. I’m a trucker, a Teamster, and lifelong Monroe County resident. I’ve lived here all of my life and put up with the nonsense in Lansing for far too long. Enough is enough.

As a truck owner operator of 47 years, I’ve been to stamping plants, steel mills, auto plants, road building projects, and farms across Michigan, making pick-ups and deliveries. There is a disconnect between the hard working folks that pay taxes and the career politicians and bureaucrats that spend it. Politicians in Lansing are spending millions of dollars on special interest pet projects like “zen zones” and “splash pads” meanwhile the roads are still terrible and I-94 keeps flooding around the airport every few years. We send too much of our hard earned money to Lansing and they waste it. We’re getting ripped off!

Even worse, Lansing Democrats are giving our money to foreign entities and competitors who are taking American jobs away and pose a threat to our national security. Democrats voted to give over $175 million to the Chinese company Gotion to create a foothold here for the Chinese government while giving Gotion millions to send more jobs to China. Prices have gone up, wages have gone down, and career politicians in Lansing keep raising your taxes and spending it in ways that hurt our interests.

I’m not a career politician. My wife, Reda and I have been married for 43 years and dues paying union members for over 50 years. As a former member of the Local 299, I will champion working Americans who want Michigan jobs, a strong economy, and a fair shake. I believe in personal responsibility, limited government, and an economy with opportunities for all. I’ve had enough of watching our kids leave this beautiful state. I’m blessed to have my kids and grandkids here in Monroe and I want to help fix this state so that it stays that way for our future generations.

I’m a local family man, a teamster, and a trucker. I will fight for us. I’d appreciate your support.

Thanks,

Dale.
